Return Policy

All sales are final – with a few exceptions.

Please know that we are not a large manufacturer or company. We are a husband and wife team pouring our hearts into making hand-crafted jewelry just for you! With that in mind, please purchase seriously.

 

What items are returnable?

  • Items that have material defects
  • Within 30 days of receipt of your delivery date
  • Items damaged during shipping – If this happens, please save all original packaging along with the damaged items and contact us right away. 
 

What items are non-refundable?

  • Any item delivered undamaged that has been accurately described on our website.
 

Are there any charges for a return?

  • There is no fee for a return
  • Original shipping is non-refundable
 

How soon will I get my refund?

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied original method of payment, within 10 business days.

Cancellations & Modifications

Please ensure all of your order information is correct before processing your order. We may be unable to make adjustments to orders prior to shipment.

Please allow 2-4 Business Days for us to create and put together your order!

Approximate shipment times via USPS:
Domestic First Class Shipping: Delivery 2-6 Business days
Domestic Priority Shipping: Delivery 2-4 Business days
International Standard (Canada): 1-3 weeks

Please keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for us to read and reply to messages as we are busy creating your handcrafted jewelry! Send us an email at Orders@copperandstone.art  prior to purchasing if you have any questions. Customer Service hours are typically M-F 10 am – 6 pm PST.
We are dedicated to creating around the clock and it is one of the many reasons orders can not be canceled once processed. Please make sure your address is correct before placing orders to avoid any possible delays in receiving your items.

We understand that sometimes things happen, regardless of how well an item is constructed, inspected, and tested. If your item breaks from normal** wear within 30 days of receiving please contact us. Copper & Stone will repair your item for free once returned to us, with free shipping back to you.


You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Jewelry must be sent back with all of its components in a protected package – not in a standard letter envelope as your piece will get damaged through USPS letter sorting machines. We will not replace pieces that do not need repair. Please include all beads, chain, clasp, etc. If your item shows signs of physical damage upon receiving (stretched out chain, chain snapped in multiple places, etc.) you will be charged to replace any necessary components.

**Unfortunately anything beyond 30 days is usually due to external forces resulting in physical damage. Physical damage is not a reflection of Copper & Stone. Please note, Copper & Stone does not encourage swimming, showering, or sleeping with your jewelry on. Please do not let children tug on your jewelry. If your item breaks from being tugged on, has caught on something or any other physical damage, that is not a reflection of Copper & Stone and we are not responsible for repairs. Copper and Stone is not a huge corporation, please be honest and courteous if you have any issues with your items.

DAMAGED ITEMS:
If your package is damaged while in the care of USPS, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Please send us a brief message including photos of the package and damaged item.
*Mail Forwarding: Please note that we are not responsible for damage that occurred while in transit from a secondary location and/or if the items are repackaged by a mail forwarding company. If insurance is purchased for forwarded international packages, the insurance will only be valid to the original shipping address in its original packaging. We are no longer responsible for a package once it is delivered to the address provided to us.

LOST MAIL:
Copper and Stone is not responsible for lost mail. Once your item has been shipped and received at the local post office it is out of our hands and into USPS. Insurance is available at checkout to cover any potential loss by USPS.

If you’re concerned about a package that is in transit, please contact your local Post Office as soon as possible. Orders are not considered lost in transit until the following amount of time has passed.
– Domestic (US): 21 days past shipping date
– International: 45 days past shipping date
If you purchased insurance and your order has not been delivered within the above time frames please contact us so that we may open an insurance claim on your behalf.

DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED:
If your package was marked “Delivered” by USPS but you did not receive it we recommend waiting another day for delivery and calling your Post Office. Your postal carrier can track where the package was dropped off via GPS when scanned. More often than not, it shows up the next day or two. Unless insurance was purchased, there is, unfortunately, nothing we can do as a small business once your package has been marked delivered. Tracking is provided to protect the buyer and the seller.

PROTECTION & INSURANCE:
We recommend purchasing shipping insurance. If you would like to insure your package, select the appropriate shipping upgrade with insurance at checkout. If you choose not to buy the insurance and your order is damaged during transit by USPS, you will be required to send your item back for repair. If your order is lost by USPS, we will not be able to replace it.

Your order will be shipped to the shipping address provided when ordered unless a different address is requested prior to shipment and we have verified that your request was received. If an address provided is incorrect and the order is shipped to the wrong address, new postage will have to be purchased by the customer once, and if, your package makes its way back to us. Copper and Stone is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses.

If your item is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address provided, rejected upon delivery, or any other reason, you will be required to repurchase postage. If a package is rejected or returned, or reshipment is refused, a 15% restocking fee for the retail value of the order will be applied. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

We ship internationally! Upon checkout, your shipping total will be automatically calculated.
